Danube Day 2013 in Bosnia & Herzegovina

This year’s central Danube Day celebration takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Vrelo Bosne, the source of the River Bosna, south-west of Sarajevo. Come along and get active for your river on the 28th June! The event is organised by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations.

Winners of this year’s Danube Art Master contest will be announced during the event. This 14-country youth competition invites you to get creative and make a piece of 3D art to illustrate what your river means to you. 

Ten winners and their teachers will attend the Ministry Danube Day, thanks to Art Master organisers, Ekotim. The NGO will celebrate the winning works with an exhibition at Vrelo Bosne showcasing some of the inspiring creations produced in the last nine years.

The Art Master competition also featured at the Sarajevo Kids Festival in June, the largest event for children in the country, attended by 40,000 young people.
